By Surya is a multifunctional community space in Groningen for shared use — a warm and cozy place for connection, inspiration, creativity, and possibilities.
The space is suited for workshops, artistic projects, movement, group sessions, co-working, and community-focused activities. It offers a homelike atmosphere where people can come together to create, explore, and collaborate.
Community Events
We regularly organize community events for you to join! Created by and for our community, which you can be a part of!
These events are accessible for you to join, tickets often being available for a donation between 5-20 euros, to be paid at the door with cash or via a QR code.

Co-working
Based on a host's availabilty, we schedule co-working days.
Enjoy By Surya to get some work done - alone but also together! You can join a day-block of ~4 hours for 6 euros.

Co-movement
Join our co-movement lab at By Surya! A space to move, train, work-out, practice, etc. Solo or together.
Weekly on Monday, 11:00-14:00.
